2025 TOURNAMENT

The Healey Memorial is a three-round stroke-play tournament conducted in memory of Joseph F. Healey. Joe was a prominent figure in the Merrimack Valley golf community and a well-respected PGA member.

This event is open to players with a valid USGA Handicap index of 12.0 or less.  In the event that more than 81 players enter, the highest indexes will be dropped from the field.

This year's tournament will be conducted July 18, 19, 20, 2025.

There will be four gross competitions within the tournament.

• Individual Champion - three-round stroke play tournament
• Senior Champion - three-round stroke play tournament (golfers age 55+ as of July 18, 2025)
• Team Champions - three-round stroke play tournament (see Joseph F. Healey Eligibility Policies below!)
• *NEW* Legends Divison - three-round stroke play tournament (golfers age 65+ by July 18, 2025)

There will be a stroke play cut after the second round.  The players with the 40 lowest stroke play totals will make the final round.

Joseph F. Healey Eligibility Policies 

Team Eligibility Rules: 

• The player must have a GHIN from said club they wish to represent.
• The player must be a member or employee of the club.
• The player must have the ability to play in club-sanctioned member events.
• The golf course a player wishes to represent must have at least nine holes.
  • No golf simulators or driving ranges are considered eligible for team play.
• If a player has dual memberships, the player may choose which club to represent.
• Must have at least three scores each day to be eligible for team competition.

Senior Division: 55+ 

• Must be 55 or older on the first day of the tournament.
• Players are eligible to win both the senior and regular division of the JFH Memorial.
• Players can represent an eligible team.

Legends Division: 65+ 

• Must be 65 or older on the first day of the tournament.
• Will play from a forward tee.
• Will not be eligible for team competition.
• Player may choose to play in regular tournament from the back tee; this will qualify them to participate in the team event if they choose to do this. 
• Will have a separate cut; 50% of the field will make the cut with no more than nine players and ties making it.
